Dispensary

Sayyed Engineers helped set up a dispensary in Inayatabbad a small village in Muzzaffarabad, Azad Kashmir. The dispensary brought about a major improvement to the health of the community. Previously, people had to travel more than 20 miles over difficult terrain to reach the nearest medical facility. With the new dispensary the villagers had the luxury of having a decent medical facility in their own vicinity. The Managing Director personally visited the site for dialogue with the local community in setting up the dispensary. The entire community participated in the designing construction and operation of the dispensary. The villagers were mobilized to contribute labor services and their savings so that they felt a sense of achievement in setting up their own dispensary. Sayyed and its suppliers provided the rest of the funds. Sayyed also helped train two of the community members in running the dispensary, and also provided financial support for hiring a doctor.
